Launched in November 2013, Chrome – A Corporate History of Kuntz Electroplating Inc.traces the history of Kuntz Electroplating from Oscar Kuntz’s dream of establishing his own metal finishing operation in his hometown community Waterloo, Ontario, in 1948, through his sons, Bob and Paul, turning the family enterprise into a global market leader in the automotive metal finishing industry to Kuntz further expanding its leadership position as a supplier for the automotive and motorcycle industries in the third generation. Written by Dr. Ulrich Frisse and designed by Lesley Warren, Chrome is a story of state-of-the-art North American–based manufacturing, perseverance in an often volatile and ever-changing market environment, corporate citizenship and giving back to the community.
