Economical® 150—Still Making History will capture the journey of Economical Insurance from its founding by a group of community minded pioneers in 1871 through a century and a half of innovation, growth and service to Canadians, to becoming a leading, national, P&C company. Combining archival research with interviews with over 60 stakeholders, the story will be crafted on a rich source base and told in the broader context of continuities, changes and transitions in the North American insurance industry over the course of a century and a half.
